William Leeds, D.O. started Topeka Pulmonary
(now known as Pulmonary & Sleep Associates) in 1998
after moving to Topeka from Cherry Hill, New Jersey where
he was the Associate Professor of Medicine, Director of
Nutrition Support & Chairman of the Ethics Committee
at Cooper Medical Center, UMDNJ. He also held a private
practice and was the Chief of Medicine at Kennedy Memorial
Hospital in New Jersey.
Presently, Dr. Leeds practices Pulmonary, Critical Care
and Sleep Medicine in all of the Topeka area hospitals
as well as many outlying Kansas medical clinics in Burlington,
Garden City, Holton, Manhattan, Parsons, & Pittsburgh
to name a few.
Dr. Leeds is also the Medical Director for Veritas Clinical
Specialties which is a clinical research company involved
in cutting edge pharmaceutical and device research. He
is always looking for alternatives for his patients that
can improve their quality of life. Dr. Leeds is the Primary
Investigator for multiple procedures and devices geared
toward helping people improve breathing for COPD and asthma
sufferers. In October of 2006, his site was the first to
perform the EASE procedure in the world.

Vlad Dimitriu, MD joined Pulmonary & Sleep
Associates in July of 2007 after completing his Pulmonary & Critical
Care Fellowships at Nebraska University Medical Center in
Omaha, Nebraska. He came with extensive experience in pulmonary,
critical care and internal medicine.
He currently practices
Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in all of the
Topeka area hospitals as well as outlying
Kansas medical clinics in Hiawatha and Sabetha. Dr. Dimitriu
is also involved in cutting edge pharmaceutical and device
research with Veritas Clinical Specialties as a Clinical
Research Investigator.
